CQC's replacement assessment framework closes its consultation this year — 34 Quality Statements collapsing into 24 Key Lines of Enquiry, numerical scoring replaced with descriptive Rating Characteristics. Final publication is expected over summer.

So we built something to close that gap: a short, free self-assessment that maps your current evidence against the direction of travel. Fifteen questions across the five Key Questions (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led). About four minutes. At the end, you get a readiness score and a specific gap list — not generic advice, actual next steps for the domains where your evidence is thinnest.

The real reason to do this now rather than in the autumn: providers who start mapping evidence to the new structure today will be materially ahead when it lands. The ones who wait will be doing this same exercise under time pressure.
